AN: Love Yourself Albums: Your Questions Answered

Author's Note

Hi everyone,

Happy Monday! I have just published a new page which aims to answer questions you might have had when listening to the Love Yourself albums.

You can find it at the top menu bar here:

I discuss the following:

  • Why are there three Love Yourself Albums?
  • Why are there four album covers for each Love Yourself album?
  • Why are there four flowers on the Love Yourself album covers and what do they represent?
  • Why is there an intro and outro track for the first two albums, and not in the third?
  • Why do some songs that are in the first two albums appear in the third album and some don’t?
  • Why do Trivia 起: Just Dance, Trivia 承: Love, and Trivia 轉: Seesaw have a “Trivia” prefix?
  • What do  and  mean and why are they in the the titles of the albums?
  • Why do Trivia 起: Just Dance, Trivia 承: Love, and Trivia 轉: Seesaw have a trilingual prefix of  and  respectively?
  • Why do some songs have an English and Korean name and some do not?

If you have any questions about the albums you’ve been wondering yourself, leave me a comment or message and I will see if I have an answer for it! 🙂

Thanks everyone, stay gold!

  1. Oh this is excellent! I love being able to reference like this. Thank you for making our sweet obsession for BTS music more enriching. Also love the BTS version of the rainbow ( pink instead of indigo) group photo…..they look so happy.

  2. Wow today is my birthday and this is like a gift for me . Thank you. Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

    1. Oh my goodness!!
      HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAJI!!
I hope you’re having a wonderful amazing day filled with lots of BTS, joy and happiness! 💜💜
Sending all of my love and purple hearts your way!! 🥳🥳🥳

    2. Hey Caji! I just made a small update to the page and I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss it! 😊 I have just added the last paragraph:

      Trivia 承: Love:

As explained in Trivia 承: Love, “Her” comes after Trivia 承: Love.
      承 means “due to“.
Thus, it can be read as: Namjoon has/is in “Love”, due to (承) “Her”.

It can also be read within the context of the song itself – that Trivia 承: Love was written about Namjoon’s feelings of love that are due to (承) his lover.

In addition, 承 can also mean “to be indebted to“. If you have read my post The SEAcret “Whole New” side of Namjoon and Tonight (이 밤), you will understand why Namjoon is indebted to his lover.

      1. Oh ok great . Thank you so much unnie . Also when does your birthday come ? 🐰😺🐯🐶🐨🐥🐑
        Thank you for updating.
